Founded in 1985, Spectre E.D.M., Inc. began as a specialized Wire EDM job shop serving the tool & die, aerospace, medical, and automotive industries throughout the Midwest and beyond.

What started in a modest facility has grown into a modern, 12,000 square foot manufacturing operation equipped with some of the most advanced Wire EDM, sinker EDM, and high-speed CNC milling technology available.

Throughout our history we have remained family-owned and operated. This continuity has allowed us to maintain an unwavering focus on quality, craftsmanship, and long-term customer relationships rather than short-term volume.

CAPABILITY
Wire as fine as 0.002"
We routinely run wire diameters from 0.3 mm (0.012") down to 0.05 mm (0.002"). This allows us to produce extremely fine details and sharp internal corners in even the hardest materials.

MATERIALS
Hardened & Exotic
Tool steel, carbide, titanium, Inconel, stainless, and other difficult-to-machine alloys are our specialty. If conventional machining struggles, EDM often excels.
